
Raadha Kalpa Dance Company is supported and housed in the LshVa Art Space. Founded by Rukmini Vijayakumar in 2009, Raadha Kalpa is an Indian classical dance company dedicated to the promotion of art and culture. The company uses Bharatanatyam, as a vocabulary of movement with the extensive use of Karanas, the ancient dance technique of India as prescribed by the Natyashastra.
Raadha Kalpa works on one production a year with dancers from varying backgrounds. Nayani & Prabhavati, the most recent productions have toured the United States and Middle East successfully, and have also been presented in India.
With Rukmini Vijayakumar as the Artistic director and choreographer, the dancers who worked in Raadha Kalpa projects between 2012 – 2015 are, Parshwanath Upadhye, Shruti Upadhye, Sneha Devanandan, Matangi Prasan, Vanita MD, Pavitra Bhatt, Suhail Bhan, and Surabhi Bharadwaj,
